Experiences
Mantra on Edward places you close to the main things to see and do in and around Brisbane. If you're in town for the big game, Suncorp Stadium and the Gabba (Brisbane Cricket ground) are just a short drive or cab ride away. If the mood takes you, you can easily stroll to the upmarket Queen's Plaza shopping centre or the high street stores in the Queens Street Mall. For those that prefer a breath of fresh air, the sub-tropical gardens of the Roma Street Parklands are located nearby.
South Bank's lively bar and restaurant scene is also within walking distance from your hotel accommodation, where the dining's excellent and the lagoon's just beckoning you to take a cool dip. Head high in The Brisbane Wheel and gaze over the CBD or jump on a City Cat ferry and enjoy a lazy, leisurely cruise down the Brisbane River.
For those with time to explore, Tangalooma on Moreton Island and North Stradbroke Island are great day trips – you can even go Humpback Whale Watching every July to November - as does a day out at any of the Gold Coasts famous theme parks or Australia Zoo to the north.
