A successful famil at Salt

Salt recently welcomed 10 event organisers and their partners from Brisbane for a corporate overnight familiarisation of both Peppers Salt Resort & Spa plus Mantra on Salt Beach.  Matthew Everson & Scott Robertson, General Managers of the properties, were overwhelmed by the feedback they received from the delegates, particularly the size, flexibility and diversity of options available at the resort.

The group were greeted in the Peppers Lobby & pre-function space where they sipped on a lychee, ginger and elderflower mule and were served steamed beef buns with Japanese mayo & pork floss.

Key event spaces were showcased to the clients for potential meetings and events including the Peppers Ballroom and Mantra Plantation Room which can seat up to 300 delegates.

Pre-dinner drinks were served poolside at Mantra where Dreamweaver’s themed the event with a large “WELCOME” sign. The group enjoyed a selection of canapes; Balinese duck cones; Watermelon cubes with goats cheese & maple speck whilst sipping a glass of sparkling wine.

For Dinner a chef's carving station was set up against a pallet wall with greenery poolside at Peppers. The chefs served whole spit roasted pig & whole baked fish.  The guests sat at a long white washed table which was lined with share plates: Cinnamon thyme whole baked pumpkin; Almond asparagus; Colcannon & roof top herb charred zucchini, baby eggplant, lemon rush. To finish, the group enjoyed a Peppers signature cocktail - Salted caramel & peanut martini with white and dark chocolate fondue served with house made fudges, marshmallows & Turkish delight.
