Conferences

Peppers Silo Hotel is a refined meeting and conferencing venue, with several individual spaces to cater for all events, hosting groups of 20 through to events up to 500 attendees. Corporate meetings or training sessions can be hosted in the River Room, which caters up to 20 attendees and offers spectacular views over Cataract Gorge and Tamar River. The Gorge Room is similar in size with river views and access to the outdoor deck, accommodating 20 attendees in boardroom seating.

For medium sized functions, the Town Point Functions Room is a stylish and spacious room featuring access to the outdoor deck and is adjacent to Woody’s Bar. It’s a space perfect for groups of 100 in theatre style, or 80 in banquet style seating. Larger functions of 200-400 can be accommodated in the Kings Wharf Lounge, a versatile multi-purpose space, located on the First Floor of the North Tower. Suitable for cocktail functions of up to 400 guests, or 220 guests in cabaret style seating. Our Kings Wharf Outdoor Deck is a more sizeable venue that can be themed to your requirements, accommodating 500 guests in cocktail style or 400 guests in banquet style.

Driving From Launceston Airport:

  • Turn north-west on Evandale Rd/B41 towards Boral Road and continue for 1.5kms
  • At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto National Highway 1 and continue for 11.7kms
  • Continue onto Bathurst St/East Tamar Highway/A8 for 1km
  • Turn left onto Lindsay Street and continue for 450m
  • Destination will be on your left

Walking from the CBD (Brisbane Street Mall):

  • Turn left (north-west) onto St John Street and continue for 600m
  • Continue as the road curves and becomes the Esplanade; continue for 300m to cross into the Seaport Precinct
  • Turn right (north) to cross the footbridge to the North Bank and follow the path through the parkland for 220m
  • Turn left (west) onto Lindsay Street and continue for 50m
