The Term “gastropub” is the combination of the words pub (short for “public house”) and gastronomy (the study of the relationship between culture and food).

Alibi Urban Gastropub situated in the heart of Melbourne’s legal district, combines quality craft brews and wines within our upmarket stylish pub setting, serving restaurant quality food through breakfast. 

Everyone is welcome at our Pub and our team will be your Alibi when the cops come knocking!

Other dining options in the hotel include basic kitchenette cook-top facilities in all suites and apartments should you wish to rustle up a light meal.

If you feel like discovering more of the city's dining scene, head down Little Bourke Street to Chinatown or Hardware Lane for some Mediterranean inspired food, or jump in a taxi and head over to Southbank.
