This intimate, colonial style Port Douglas resort of just 25 rooms is set on top of the historic Court House Hotel and only 100 metres from the popular marina precinct.

Offering compact hotel rooms or 1 & 2 bedroom spa suites (complete with whirlpool spas and private timber balconies) all our accommodation provides air conditioned comfort and access to facilities like our heated outdoor pool & spa and our BBQ area. And if you don’t feel like cooking, the town’s best pub meals are under your nose – literally- while other eateries abound nearby.

Sitting opposite the Dickson Inlet, the resort also offers direct access to boating facilities as well as the departure point for day trips to the World Heritage listed Great Barrier Reef. Our convenient location is also perfect to enjoy leisurely strolls on the old pier or waterfront and sitting on top of Port Douglas' oldest hotel, The Court House, a great meal is never far away.

Port Douglas' boutique stores and chic cafes are also just a short walk down Macrossan Street, the main strip of Port Douglas, or for those days you want to relax at the resort why not wander through our tropical landscaped gardens. *Please note - Mantra on the Inlet is a walk up property and does not have guest lifts. Mantra on the Inlet is in a prime position just minutes from a huge range of choices to eat out along the main streets of Port Douglas. Just step outside into Wharf Street or Macrossan Street and you'll stroll past some of the best places to dine in the region, which boasts over 50 restaurants and cafes. For one of the best gourmet pub meals in town, you will barely even have to touch the pavement, with the convenience of the resort resting atop the famous Court House Hotel. Built in 1878, the pub has been dishing out icy cold drinks and fantastic food to visitors ever since and now features three bars and the Wharf St Bistro, known for great steaks. Or if you prefer to cook your own, simply make use of Mantra on the Inlet's outdoor barbecue area which can be used for entertaining close to your accommodation for family and friends.

Getting here
By Car One hour north of Cairns turn off the Captain Cook Highway and follow the main road into Port Douglas. Follow this road around into Macrossan Street and here you will see the Courthouse hotel at the end of the Street. Reception is located just behind the hotel. 

By shuttle
Regular shuttle bus services operate from Cairns International Airport and are $30* per person each way. Please contact Mantra on the Inlet on 07 4084 2300 if you require transfers. Shuttle services are also available from other locations. Please contact us for prices and schedules.
